Meet Tom Stanko


Tom Stanko, Jacksonville resident since 1983 and full time Florida Realtor Broker/Associate, specializes in single family homes, town homes, condominiums, vacant land and Commercial Real Estate in Duval, St. Johns, Clay, Flagler, Nassau and Baker counties.

 Tom has many years of real estate experience. In 1985 he obtained the Florida real estate Agent license through the Watson School of Real Estate and in 2001 the Florida real estate Brokers license through (FREI) the Florida Real Estate Institute Inc,. The Brokers’ license requires more education, training and experience than the average agent and is held by only 21% *of all Realtors in Florida. Further, not all agents are Realtors; only those that are members of the (NAR) National Association of Realtors and subscribe to their real estate code of ethics are called Realtors.

Buying or selling property in today's real estate market can be a stressful complex process.  Whether you are a first time homebuyer, a move up buyer, military veteran or a senior you need someone who has the experience and professionalism to simplify the process for you.  Tom is a seasoned real estate veteran with the experience of thousands of sales and purchase transactions. 

How has Tom prepared himself to help you? 

Do you know?  In Florida, only 32%* of the Realtors have professional designations. Tom obtained the (SRES)  Senior Real Estate Specialist designation requiring additional education, mandatory exams and experience working with prospects age 50 and older on their unique real estate needs. 

Tom completed the (AHWD) At Home With Diversity training program and has a personal commitment to the One America Principle. 

In 2009 Tom obtained the (LMC) Loss Mitigation Certificate after taking additional training on sucessfully negotiating short sales, auctions, foreclosure and (REO'S) Real Estate Owned or Bank Owned properties. According to (NAR) the National Association of Realtors,  this certificate is the premier tool for realtors involved in complex short sale, auction, pre-foreclosure and REO property transactions and is held by only 22%* of all Realtors in Florida.










Born and raised in Ohio, Tom graduated from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio with a (BSBA) Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree and a Major in Marketing. 

Tom relocated to Jacksonville in 1983 with a large International Security Corporation where he was one of their first Customer Service Managers and eventually a Sales Manager. He started his real estate career with a local franchise of Coldwell Banker, spent two years with Prudential Atlantic Commercial Real Estate focusing on commercial real estate full time, in 2003 joined Integrity Home and Finance Inc., a local full service real estate and mortgage broker.  Presently, Tom is a multi-million dollar sales producer, working full time as a Realtor Broker/Associate with INI Realty Investments, Inc. one of the larger local Real Estate brokerage firms in Jacksonville.  

A U.S. Coast Guard veteran Tom is very familiar with military and corporation relocations as he personally experienced both numerous times in his career. 

Besides real estate, some of Tom's other interests are spending quality time with friends and family including his two children and grand children. In addition, working with numerous volunteer service organizations, physical fitness, travel and keeping up to date on the latest technology in home construction including "Green Home Features."      

You can count on Tom for all your real estate needs. Tom has taken additional training on short sales, foreclosures, 1031 Tax deferred exchanges, residential construction and is also a real estate investor with numerous rental properties. 

In addition to taking specific courses on residential construction (most recently in 2018 through NEFAR) the N.E. Florida Association of Realtors  and the (FREI) Florida Real Estate Institute Inc. Tom volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, most recently in St. Augustine where he gained practical hands on experience in building new residential homes for low-income families, Invaluable experience that is transferable to working with prospects buying newly constructed homes in all price ranges.  

Tom knows Jacksonville; he lived in Arlington for 17 years, is presently living in Mandarin with his wife of 47 years and attends church in St. Johns County Florida.
